The power of gamification to tackle complex topics in education, Monday, June 17th, 2024. In this free online gathering you will learn about easily accessible methods and tools to talk about very complex topics like the Sustainable Development Goals. In a digital conference environment, you can explore the material and share your experiences and ideas with experts in formal and non-formal education.

The event will be held in English and is part of the final conference of the FutureSim project. The learning program on global sustainable development developed in FutureSIM consists of several complementary components.

  • The Social Simulation, as the core element of the project, allows for a playful introduction to the SDGs. The gamification approach supports engagement with the 2030 Agenda.
  • A toolkit for teachers provides practical training materials and methodological guidance for integrating the Social Simulation into the classroom, fostering young people’s awareness and engagement with the SDGs.
  • Digital learning materials offer comprehensive knowledge of the SDGs and essential skills for participating in political decision-making processes, such as information and media literacy.
  • An online learning platform provides access to all learning materials, supports the implementation of the program, and facilitates communication.
  • The “What we recommend” handbook serves as a policy and implementation guide for inclusive learning resources and shares the experiences gained during the project.
